Derbi Sonar is the ideal scooter for getting through the traffic: fun, nimble and snappy. At the same time, it's a valid solution for female users, thanks to its manoeuvrability and smoothness. The elegance of the Sonar lines takes on a sporty touch with the graphics emphasising the youthful character that's typically Derbi. Great style and forceful sportiness are also implied by the black colour of the big rims, perfectly matched with the classic, sober colours of the new Sonar's bodywork.

The new Derbi Sonar 50 is fitted with a snappy, agile, 50cc 2 stroke, air-cooled with an adjustment designed to guarantee maximum reliability and minimum consumption - the ideal qualities for daily use in the metropolitan jungle.

And it's precisely in the city environment that the Sonar is at its best and shows off all the special features that make it perfect not only for urban obstacle races and the unending “stop and go”, but also for the pure comfort of the rider: apart from the useful footrest platform, the Derbi Sonar boasts a roomy helmet compartment capable to hold a jet helmet, a useful, large, rear luggage rack incorporating the passenger grab handles, and a large, clear instrument panel that includes a fuel gauge and digital clock amongst the various indicators.
